I was lucky enough to find sprinkles that matched the blue and green of the baby shower. So I simply decorated the cupcakes with a thick coating of sprinkles for high impact color. I served them on tiered glass pedestals stacked in a tower. I garnished the cupcake tower with chocolate truffles.

Blue and green sprinkles
Bake the cupcakes and let them cool completely. Ice them with white buttercream frosting. Cover the frosting generously with shiny sprinkles, use green on half of the cupcakes and blue on the other half. You can sprinkle with your hands or pour the sprinkles into bowls and dip the frosted cupackes into the sprinkles.
