Green Smoothie

There is something so satisfying about filling a blender with spinach leaves and blending it up into a tasty drinkable concoction that even your kids will enjoy.
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups tightly-packed spinach (and/or kale)
  • 1-2 cups frozen pineapple
  • ½ cup Trader Joe's (or other) Green juice
  • 1-2 kiwis, optional
  • 2-3 tsp chia seeds, optional
Instructions
  1. Blend the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Adjust the amount of juice and frozen pineapple to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Garnish with kiwi slices if desired.
