5-Layer Dip

- 1 15-ounce can refried beans
- ½ of a 15-ounce can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 16-ounce tub of light sour cream
- 1 packet of taco seasoning, to taste
- Guacamole or mashed avocado
- Grated Cheese
- Olive slices, optional
- 1 can of diced green chiles, optional
- Shredded cilantro, optional
- To assemble this dip, spread the refried beans in the bottom of a standard-sized pie pan.
- Stir the black beans into the refried beans and mash lightly to mix together.
- Mix the taco seasoning and the light sour cream.
- Spread the sour cream mixture over the beans.
- Spread guacamole over the sour cream mixture and cover with grated cheese.
- Top with sliced olives, diced green chiles, sliced jalapeƱos and/or shredded cilantro.
- Serve with chips and/or tortillas and salsa.
