Peanut Butter-Banana Pancakes

Peanut butter, banana and maple syrup is a rich and comforting combo.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • ½ cup mashed banana and ½ cup sliced bananas {approximately 2 bananas}
  • 2-4 Tbsp peanut butter
  • Maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Mix the dry ingredients.
  2. Stir in the wet ingredients.
  3. You can add mashed banana and peanut butter to the pancake batter or cook the basic buttermilk pancakes and put the bananas and peanut butter on top. Or you can do both.
  4. Cook the pancakes on a griddle at medium heat until they are golden on each side. Spread peanut butter on the pancakes and sprinkle them with banana slices.
  5. Top with maple syrup.
