Egg Dish

This rich and cheesy breakfast casserole is one of my family's favorites.
Ingredients
  • 10 eggs
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 lb shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, etc.)
  • 1 cube butter (optional)
  • *I only use a couple of tablespoons and it still tastes great!
Instructions
  1. Blend all of the ingredients together.
  2. Add ham, sausage, green chiles or other ingredients if desired. Be sure to drain the meat before adding it to the egg mixture so that the casserole does not become watery and runny.
  3. Pour the egg batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
  4. Bake the egg dish at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. A knife inserted should come out clean.
