Russian Tea Cakes

- 1 cup butter, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 2½ cups flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cups finely chopped walnuts
- Cream the butter and the sugar and mix in the rest of the ingredients.
- Roll the cookie dough into the shape of marbles and bake them at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes until they are starting to turn golden.
- Let the cookies cool enough just enough so that you can handle them and then roll them in powdered sugar.
- Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
- Roll them again in powdered sugar once they have cooled so that they are solid white.
