5-Layer Dip

This layered bean dip is always a crowd-pleaser at parties.  The recipe comes from my sister-in-law and her girls.  It is so simple to make and you can adjust the layers according to your taste and the ingredients that you have on hand.  At its most basic it is a 5-layer dip but it can easily become a 7-layer dip if you add multiple toppings with the cheese.  My family likes to use our homemade guacamole but you can simply use mashed or cubed avocado.  We typically serve the dip chilled or at room temperature but it is also yummy when heated.
