Oatmeal Chia Berry Bars

Oatmeal {chia} cookies meet berry cobbler.  Remember the berry chia seed freezer jam I was talking about?  Well, these are the oatmeal jam bars that I promised from that post.  All I can say is that these bars are incredible.  The oatmeal provides a chewy texture and a nutty flavor and makes them seem like a true dessert (though they could pass for a snack).

They work for breakfast, snacks and dessert.  Though they could be compared to a homemade nutrigrain bar, they are actually slightly different and far superior to any of those store-bought bars.

This recipe comes from Oh She Glows.  I have made them with raspberry and marionberry chia seed freezer jam, another recipe that I adapted from Oh She Glows.
