Buttermilk Pancakes

These basic buttermilk pancakes are a cinch to make and you can top them with whatever you’d like such as syrup, jam and fruit.  Be creative and make specialty pancakes of your choice {chocolate chip, banana macadamia nut, peanut butter banana and pumpkin, etc.}.

You can mix the dry ingredients the night before so that they come together quickly on school mornings and busy weekends.  This recipe makes 10-12 pancakes.

I love this recipe and it’s great with blueberries either stirred into the ingredients or on top!

These pancakes remind me of my childhood. The only difference in the recipe is that we didn’t add sugar. They taste great either way! My girls will carry on the buttermilk pancake tradition too!
