Back to school has kicked into full gear and we are saying our goodbyes to summer but I still find myself thinking back to one of my all-time summer favorites: s'mores. In this rendition of the nostalgic treat, rich {milk chocolate} fudge is dipped in marshmallow creme and then rolled in crushed graham crackers.
S'mores and ice cream, two of my favorite things. The s'mores ice cream sandwiches that I made last summer for National Ice Cream Day were such a hit that I decided to make s'mores ice cream this year to celebrate the yummy summer holiday.
These sandwiches are a quick and easy dessert that turns your leftover frosting into a new treat. Because buttercream frosting is just too good to throw out!
To celebrate National Ice Cream Day, I made ice cream sandwiches based on summer's classic campfire treat. They are quick, effortless and a refreshing way to enjoy your s'mores.
