Baby Blue & Green Cupcakes
I was lucky enough to find sprinkles that matched the blue and green of the baby shower. So I simply decorated the cupcakes with a thick coating of sprinkles for high impact color.

To match the green décor of my sister’s baby shower I decorated the cupcakes in green. I spelled the baby’s name with letters cut out of green fondant; I made green fondant polk-a-dots; and I made green chocolate baby rattles using chocolate candy molds.

Mississippi is usually named as the origin of mud pie. This variation of it more closely resembles Hawaiian Hula Pie — a cookie crust topped with ice cream and a chocolate fudge sauce. Call it what you will, it’s a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
