This teriyaki chicken is the closest I’ve come to matching the teriyaki chicken served at our favorite local sushi restaurant. I use my Flank Steak Marinade recipe with the addition of cornstarch or flour to help thicken the sauce into a rich teriyaki glaze.
My family loves this lime chicken in tacos and on salads and nachos. The chicken caramelizes when cooked in the lime juice, creating browned, slightly crispy edges with a tender and juicy interior.
Ever since I can remember my family has had my Grandma’s lasagne for our Christmas Eve dinner. I have made a few slight changes to my Grandma’s recipe to make it lighter but it has the same hearty, comforting flavors.
Nachos are a fun and colorful way to serve a meal to your family and they are also the perfect party fare. While the tortilla chips are a splurge, the loaded nachos provide a lean protein, vegetables and calcium. Load ’em up with lime chicken {or your favorite meat}, beans, guacamole, salsa and chopped tomatoes and let everyone dig in.
This pasta dish is sneaky because it disguises healthy veggies and makes them appealing to kids (and adults). There is nothing more satisfying than watching your child scarf down spinach and tomatoes… and ask for seconds!
This fajita marinade is super easy to throw together at the last minute but the fajitas are even better the longer the meat has to marinate. Serve the fajitas with avocado slices and a fajita pepper mix for a colorful and healthy meal.
These asian-inspired meatballs served with sweet & sour sauce are a tasty treat, especially when served over rice. They are a perfect appetizer for a party because they can finish cooking in a slow-cooker while you focus on other elements of the party.
This taco meat doesn’t require any store-bought seasoning packets but it is just as easy to make. It is so juicy and flavorful that you can easily substitute ground turkey or chicken for a healthier option (and some people might not even notice a difference!).
Make this healthier baked version of fried chicken tenders without sacrificing any of the flavor. For a fun and creative dinner, have a dipping sauce competition where every member of the family makes a dipping sauce. Then act as taste testers during dinner to select your favorites.
This no-fuss teriyaki chicken recipe is quick and easy and perfect for those nights where you don’t really have time to make dinner!
