Celebrate peach season with a special breakfast {or dessert}: peaches and cream waffles. Sweet, juicy peaches and homemade whipped cream is a match made in heaven. Enjoy these waffles while you can because you'll have to wait until next summer to have them again.

Fruit crisp is one of my favorite desserts because the oatmeal crumble on top adds a sweet crunch to each bite while allowing the fruit to remain the star of the dessert. I use whatever fruit is in season so this time I chose peaches for a grand finale of summer.

This is such an easy dessert and a great way to use up pie crust scraps for the garnish. Sugar cookies would also be a great topper if you don't have any pie crust handy. I like making an assortment so that everyone can have their favorite and so you can take advantage of all of the fresh fruits of summer.
