When I saw this "owl egg shaper" on Pinterest I couldn't resist making a version of my own. My oldest son got a hoot out of his breakfast and I loved playing with food to create an easy, edible art snack that doesn’t involve sugary sweets.

Simply layer white (plain or vanilla) yogurt, red berries & fruit, a spoonful of raspberry freezer jam if you want to sweeten your plain Greek yogurt just a bit, and heart-shaped oatmeal pancakes to make a heart healthy breakfast, snack or dessert. And it doubles as an activity: my boys love every opportunity to create with cookie cutters!

One morning I was playing around with my son's toast and the next thing I knew it had transformed itself into a train. Spread the train toast with your choice of jams, nut butters, Nutella, etc. Make the train as long as you'd like and fill the train cars with different fruits and other toppings.
