It's easy to transform cake pops into the iconic Mickey Mouse head using Necco wafers. Decorated with rainbow sprinkles these cake pops were the perfect addition to the dessert spread at my son's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party.
The ever-popular Halloween candy presented the perfect inspiration for a fondant layer cake. I knew that I could use basic food coloring and get perfectly colored candy corn layers. This time I wanted to see if I could achieve a similar result with natural dyes.
It is easy to make make funfetti cupcakes (or a whole cake, for that matter) with the cake batter of your choice. They look just like the cake mix versions but taste much better!
This cake has a rich buttery vanilla flavor but when compared with many other cakes, it is surprisingly not that bad for you. It is moist and great for building theme cakes and when paired with buttercream frosting it's one of my family's all-time favorite cake/cake pop combos.
