I have had the opportunity to work on the Pass the Prosciutto – Gluten Free Holiday Entertaining campaign through Prosciutto di Parma. The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma (the organization that certifies this ham from the hills around Parma, Italy and gives the brand of ham its quality seal of approval) is celebrating 50 years although the tradition of making this ham is more than 1,000 years old.

This caramel corn is one of the many food-related traditions in my family. All you have to do is boil the caramel ingredients for a few minutes, toss the popped popcorn in the caramel, and bake it in the oven to golden, crispy perfection.

Maple cinnamon whipped cream was the finishing touch for our decadent pumpkin pie oatmeal pancakes with maple pecans but I can envision many other sweets and hot drinks topped with this fall-spiced whipped cream.
